Henry Cavill and Alan Ritchson's WWII Action Movie, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, Soars to the Top of American Streaming Charts
The film, directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Henry Cavill, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, and Eiza González, follows a group of skilled soldiers on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines during World War II. It has been a hit with both critics and audiences, earning a 68% score from critics and a verified 91% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
Despite its success with viewers, the film struggled at the box office, earning only $29 million against a $60 million budget. However, it has found new life on streaming platforms, with Starz in America reporting it back in the top 10 as of December 31.
The film's release on streaming comes after a series of collaborations between Ritchie and Cavill, including The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and an upcoming project, In the Grey. Ritchson, who has become a major action star through his role in Reacher, also has a few other projects in the works, including The Man With the Bag and War Machine.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is available to stream on Starz in America, and Collider will continue to provide updates on the latest streaming releases.
