Get ready, gamers! ASUS is about to drop some serious firepower with its new ROG Swift OLED monitors, set to debut at CES 2026. These aren't just any monitors; they're designed to redefine your gaming experience. Let's dive in!
ASUS is expanding its ROG Swift OLED lineup with two exciting new models: the 34-inch ROG Swift PG34WCDN and the 27-inch ROG Swift PG27UCWM. One is built for ultrawide, high-refresh gaming with Samsung Display's QD-OLED technology, while the other packs a 4K panel with a dual-mode refresh rate.
ROG Swift PG34WCDN: The Ultrawide QD-OLED Beast
This monitor is a powerhouse, featuring Samsung Display's latest QD-OLED panel. It boasts a 3440 x 1440 resolution, a cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio, and an 1800R curve for immersive gameplay. ASUS promises a blazing-fast 0.03 ms G2G response time, 10-bit color depth, and 99% DCI-P3 coverage, all factory-calibrated with a Delta E <2 for stunning visuals.
But here's where it gets interesting: the PG34WCDN uses an RGB-stripe sub-pixel layout (Samsung calls it “V-stripe”) to minimize color fringing and improve text clarity. ASUS also introduces a “BlackShield Film” coating, designed to deepen blacks in bright environments, reduce the purple tint seen on earlier QD-OLED panels, and enhance scratch resistance.
Connectivity is also top-notch, with 2x HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20), and USB-C with DP Alt Mode (plus 90W power delivery), alongside USB-A ports and a headphone jack.
ROG Swift PG27UCWM: 4K Tandem WOLED with a Refresh Rate Twist
This monitor features a 27-inch 4K (26.5-inch class) 4th-gen tandem WOLED panel from LG Display. The key upgrade here is the RGB-stripe sub-pixel layout, which aims to provide sharper text and UI edges.
And this is the part most people miss: The PG27UCWM offers a dual-mode refresh rate. It runs at 240Hz at 4K and can switch to 480Hz at 1080p for incredibly smooth gameplay. It also supports Dolby Vision alongside standard HDR10.
For ports, you'll find DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20) and USB-C with 90W power delivery. It also includes ASUS OLED Care Pro features, including a Neo Proximity Sensor to reduce burn-in risk.
Availability and Pricing
While the pricing hasn't been announced yet, ASUS is targeting a Q1 2026 release, with both monitors set to be showcased at CES 2026.
